Monday's Most Wanted (2)

Hey lovely readers, I know I'm a day late with this post but its better late than never right? Now I'm pretty sure my stupid self wrote something about posting Monday's Most Wanted posts every Monday, not taking into consideration that I won't necessarily like new things every Monday and that my taste doesn't evolve fast enough for that, sorry! Anyways its a day after Monday and I've got new things to share!

  1. Miista- This brand deserves and entirely separate post, but I'm adding it to the list anyways! Miista is basically a footwear brand in Hackney, London. We've all seen those legendary holographic Zoe oxfords right? Well those are Miista's along with so many more stunning pieces that are to die for. This brand is in my most wanted list because it's just so fresh, creative, gorgeous, and in the present. My favorites would have to be Gabriela in black, ALL the Zoe's, Sue's, and Nina's (I seriously cannot pick specific ones) The Val-Tex Topaz/ Mauve (The normal Val is a classic though) Ossi in iridescent silver, and Calia in iridescent pink and Irid purple. You gotta love how precise I am. No but  my absolute favorite has got to be the Ossi in iridescent silver.  Now another reason Miista is on my list is because I'm not only loving their shoes, but also their blog. I swear they've got one hell of a sick blog and I'd love to write a post for them in the future - A blogger can dream right?
    You know you want it

    Dream Miista purchase.

Oh look at me I'm bright and damn sexy.

I'm the definition of pure awesomeness
  2. Lip Venom- I've been really interested in trying this out. I've heard a lot of good comments about the DuWop lip venom and the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker (how cute is it's name?) and am looking forward to giving them a shot! Have any of you tried them? Which one would you suggest?
  3. Living and Loving Life- One of the main things I dislike about myself is the fact that I'm a really negative person. Yes I do tend to love a lot of little things, but overall I spread bad negative vibes everywhere. Nevertheless, change is on its way!
  4. WildFox- I think I've made it obvious I am in love with WildFox right? I've loved their Star Crossed Lovers collection and I'm loving their current very clueless collection! Here are some of my recent favorites!

That's it for today's post you guys! Hope you enjoyed it and I hope everyone who didn't know Miista fell in love! If you've got any requests or questions feel free to ask here and feel free to tweet me or follow @FatimaTheGhost! Did you like today's post? Have you been liking the blog lately? Have you tried out lip venoms and what was the result and which one would you recommend? Tell me in the comments section down below! Stay pretty x

Tips For The Airport

Hey lovely readers, now I personally haven't seen any posts about this topic but I'm sure its been talked about everywhere so I'm not that unique or anything, nevertheless today's post is about Airport Dressing.
Now I know you'll all be like "Who dresses up for an airport and why would you need to?" Well let me give you some scenarios.
1.       You're at the airport in your laziest outfit, and you look up from your phone or magazine or book or whatever and BAM a famous designer or celebrity is sitting beside/ in front of you.
2.       You're at the airport in your laziest outfit, and you look up from your phone or magazine or book or whatever and BAM a super egg frying pan hot guy sits beside/in front of you. There goes your prince charming.
3.       You're at the airport in your laziest outfit, and you look up from your phone or magazine or book or whatever and BAM an old school/work mate sits beside/ in front of you or walks by.
Now I know you'd be like "But they'd already have high thinking of you for your personality and the guy would fancy you for that as well' But come on we all tend to judge people by what they wear, after all people's dressing reflects their inner selves. That being said when I say dressing up I don’t mean going all dress and heels and full make up or anything I just mean you shouldn't look like you've come straight from your bed. Here are some dressing/general tips for when going to travel.
o   Style is your friend, and comfort is your companion. Look good and feel comfortable. This can be achieved by wearing
·         A combination of graphic tees or muscle tanks with some loose fitting jeans or comfy leggings or even sweatpants, and some vans, cut-out boots or platforms if you feel they're comfortable enough.
·         A simple white tee and black suit pants. Monochrome is always hot.
·         Camo jackets with basic tops underneath paired with leggings/jeans and creepers/flats/anything. You can even spice it up by going for bright colored tees underneath the Camo Jacket.
·         A sensible simple dress paired with flats or creepers –for a more edgy look- if you're feeling girly enough.
·         Skirts although I wouldn't recommend it because you never know when a breeze may come.
·         Rolled up sleeve or loose sweatshirts that actually look neat and cute and suit your figure paired with jeans/leggings/sweatpants. Don’t try this unless you're sure you look fine. Wouldn't want to go to an airport looking like an over-sized grape when sat next to an extremely attractive guy… not that I would know.
o   Don't overdress; basically don't dress up like you're a celebrity or a huge deal. Keep your choices modest, convenient, and well structured.
o   Don’t wear uncomfortable shoes, pretty shoes won't hide the fact you walk like a diseased penguin in them.
o   Always have a headband, hair band, and bobby pins around.
o   Keep your make-up as light as possible! Use some basics like concealed and/or BB-cream (which is lighter than foundation) and some lippies. Ditch it completely if possible.

o   Your bag shouldn't be so big people would think you're smuggling someone in there nor too small for them to think all that’s in there is some crack stuffed inside. Have a convenient sized bag and always make sure you carry some things along with all your necessities like:
·         Germ Killer- hand gel sanitizer
·         Lotion
·         Wet Wipes
·         Perfume- stinky pants
·         Lip Balm
·         Mints
I have realized that my bullet points aren't organized, yes.
Here's some inspiration for you

I hope you gained some information/inspiration from this post!

The Overall Fever!

From "work" wear in 1981 to athlete and children wear to the world of fashion 1960's-1970's. We all know we've got a pair hidden somewhere in our wardrobes and they are, dungarees.  I wish my pair still fitted because they're back! Ever since 3.1 Phillip Lim sent out pairs down the spring runway, everyone's been getting the overall fever. From designers like Isabel Marant to high street stores like topshop you cant get your overall fix anywhere and everywhere. Despite the fact a lot of people are against this trend not wanting to relive "those days" a lot of people have grown a liking to them and have began wearing them out. Bringing back the good old days!
You can see the LookBook community  is working the trend:
Can you spot the Coltranes?

I just love the variety available! Go for patterned overalls to create bolder statements!

Not to mention one of my favorite bloggers, Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat

My personal favorite overall has got to be this multi-colored tie-dye overall by Henry Holland.

So, are you daring enough to rock this trend? And if you are what would you pair your overall with? Tell me in the comments below!
